Your body has been fooled into thinking the cigarette relieves stress, even though it is the cigarette that causes the stress in the first place. You are living in a heightened state of stress because of the artificailly high levels of adrenalin (the stress hormone) caused by smoking.

The good news is that you can now choose another way. We can work together to allow your unconscious mind to let go of that association completely, and when it is not longer associated with something good, then it is no longer motivating you to smoke. This could be far easier than you imagine.
